Fairfield, MP Meets the Players
Trojans, Panthers hold scrimmages ahead of fall sports scrimmage
Later this week, Fairfield will host Mt. Pleasant to kick off the 2024 football season, and volleyball and cross-country is just around the corner.
On Friday, both schools hosted “Meet the Players” night. The festivities included scrimmages for both volleyball and football teams.
Both Fairfield and Mt. Pleasant held intrasquad volleyball scrimmages. The Trojans also went at it in an intrasquad game on the football field.
Danville made the short trip to Mt. Pleasant for a football scrimmage. The Bears will play their first regular season game next Friday as well.
While all that was happening, the Washington Demons were getting set for the football season with a scrimmage at Muscatine. Washington will be at home this Friday against Oskaloosa.
