Fairfield searches for second win hosting South Tama
Trojans to face Trojans in district home stand

Fairfield football has been on a bit of a slide as of late.
The Trojans (1-5) are losers of four straight, falling to No. 3 Williamsburg last week, 54-14. This time around, Fairfield will look to end the streak with a Class 3A District 5 victory over South Tama (0-6).
The Trojans in blue have yet to win a game and come in hungry. South Tama most recently fell to Grinnell 45-7.
For Fairfield, Voss Richardson has thrown for 304 yards and two touchdowns.
On the ground, Luke Konczal has rush for 566 yards and six touchdowns in six games. Zandrik Allison follows with 497 yards and four touchdowns. Ethan Bisgard also has 168 yards and five scores.
Bisgard is the Trojans top receiver as well. He’s the only Trojan to have over five catches, sitting at 15, with 158 yards and one touchdown. Spencer McCready also has one touchdown catch.
On defense, Konczal has 60.5 tackles. Bisgard follows with 22.
For South Tama, Cody Blocker has 348 passing yards. Blocker also leads the Trojans on the ground with 214 yards and two touchdowns. Michael Henry follows with 154 yards and two scores.
Eric Medina and Nick Upah both have nine catches for 154 and 106 yards respectively.
Kyle Youngbear has 40 tackles for the Trojans.
The two squads are set to square off at 7:30 on Friday in Fairfield.
