Fairfield soccer saw a win and loss on Monday night as the Trojan boys showcased their class with a 6-3 win over the Grayhounds, while the girls were shutout 10-0.
For the boys, freshman Ian Richards led the charge, netting four goals on eight shots. The Trojans scored three goals in each half. Binh Truong and Lane Stever each netted a goal as well.
Jaxon Kurka left his mark on the game, tallying two assists. Henry Swan carded three saves in the win.
On the girls’ side of things, the Grayhounds scored a whopping nine goals in the first half and added one more to its total in the second to end the game.
Hunter Pender and Kiara Winski led Burlington, scoring three goals a piece.
