Fairfield soccer teams shut out by Burlington
Trojan offense cold in Southeast Conference contests

The goals just weren’t flowing for the Fairfield soccer teams in their Southeast Conference games against Burlington on Thursday. The Trojan boys faltered 1-0 at home, and the girls fell dropped their match 7-0 at Bracewell Stadium in Burlington.
The Trojan boys were tied 0-0 at the half, but the lone goal slipped by for the Grayhounds in the second half.
Burlington had 10 shots on goal to Fairfield’s four. Trojan goalkeeper Mikael Anderson had seven saves on the day.
Carter Stark, Andrew Titze, Andrew Twohill and Ezra Kuster each had one shot on goal for Fairfield.
On the girls’ side, Kiara Bickham had to make 17 saves against the SEC-leading Grayhounds. On offense, Fairfield had just three shots on goal.
Delaney Breen finished the game with two shots on goal to lead the Trojans. Savannah Hollander had one.
