Fairfield swimming edged by Tipton
Trojans win 6 races, fall by 2 points

TIPTON — There was a war in the water on Monday evening at the Tipton Aquatic Center. Fairfield traveled north to take on the Tigers in a dual and were just nipped by two points, falling 56-54.
The Trojans won six races on the day, five of which came individually. Grace Sobaski won the 500-yard freestyle and 100-yard breast stroke. Willow Larsen took the 100-yard freestyle and the 100-yard backstroke, and Paige Craun was victorious in the 50-yard freestyle.
The other Fairfield win came in the 200-yard medley. Ivy Larsen, Grace Sobaski, Willow Larsen and Craun edged Tipton by just over a half second to win that race.
