Fairfield swimming takes 5th at Williamsburg

WILLIAMSBURG — The Fairfield swimming team took fifth place at the Williamsburg Invitational on Saturday. The Trojans scored 125 points, just 13 back from fourth-place Tipton but a full 104 ahead of sixth-place Centerville.
It was Fairfield’s seventh meet of the season, and the second-to-last in a string of road trips before the home season starts. Fairfield will be in Burlington on Oct. 19 before hosting a triangular on the 25th, and taking on Keokuk on Oct. 28 in Fairfield.
