Fairfield takes third at IMS soccer tourney
KALONA ? The Fairfield boys? soccer team played the four-team IMS tournament Saturday in Kalona.
The Trojans dropped a 4-2 match vs. host Iowa Mennonite in first-round action. Pasha Bousquet and Jacob Lantz found the net for Fairfield in the loss.
Fairfield then cruised to a 6-1 victory vs. Pella Christian in the consolation game. Bousquet and Lantz each scored two goals apiece and Roan Bachar and Finn Trost each

Fairfield then cruised to a 6-1 victory vs. Pella Christian in the consolation game. Bousquet and Lantz each scored two goals apiece and Roan Bachar and Finn Trost each added one to push Fairfield.
Fort Madison had beaten Pella Christian in the opener before taking on IMS in the championship.
Fairfield will next play another tournament at Mid-Prairie Saturday.
