Fairfield tennis thrashes Davis County
Trojans lose just one game against the Mustangs

BLOOMFIELD — The Fairfield boys tennis team put together another stellar performance on Tuesday, whipping Davis County 8-1 in the meet.
In the individual matchups, the Trojans nearly swept the Mustangs, losing just one of the six matches.
Garrett Flanagan, Jace Hannes and Brendan Marcellus were all winners in Fairfield’s top three positions, defeating their opponents 8-1 in a single set.
Dil Hurlin battled in his No. 4 match, taking the win 9-7. Jack Unger fought hard, but lost a tight bout 8-6. Aidan Flanagan flew through his opposition 8-1 in the No. 6 match.
Fairfield were three time winners in the doubles matches. Flanagan and Hannes didn’t lose a single game, winning 8-0. Marcellus and Hurlin were winners 8-3. Unger and Flanagan rounded out the doubles matches with a victory, 6-4.
Fairfield (3-3) will play Maharishi (4-0) in its next match on Thursday.
