Fairfield tennis wins pair against Keokuk
Trojans boys and girls stay unbeaten on the season

Fairfield boys and girls tennis continues to dominate this season.
Both Trojan teams are still undefeated on the season and most recently defeated Keokuk on Monday.
The Fairfield boys (12-0) swept Keokuk 9-0 on the day, while the Trojan girls (10-0) bested the Chiefs 7-2.
On the boys’ side, Han Wang defeated Tyce Hoppe 8-0. Bowen Zhang won 8-2 over Jaxton McNally.
Ethan Cass and Ryland Anderson were 8-1 winners over Kole Keppel and Evan Carr respectively. Niko Emerson finished with an 8-2 win over Caleb Mondon and Rocky Galusha bested Zach Atterberg 8-1.
In doubles, Cass/Anderson, Aaron Carlson/Johnson Liu and Emerson/Galusha were all 8-3 winners.
The Fairfield girls got wins from Emma Wendland, Mareyn Dunkin, Faith Jones and Faeven Gebremariam.
Wendland won 6-0, 6-3 over Sophia Rule. Dunkin beat Gracie Thompson 6-2, 6-1. Jones was a winner over Aubrey Dade 6-4, 6-1 and Gebremariam defeated Elizabeth Stambaugh 6-0, 6-3.
The Trojans two losses came as Natalie Steele fell to Nevaeh Logan 6-3, 6-4 and Tula Sorflaten lost to Baylee Picton 6-1, 6-3.
In doubles, Poojita Mukadam and Steele were 10-4 winners as were Dunkin and Jones. Wendland and Gebremariam won 10-3.
