Fairfield to face Ottumwa
Trojans to take on Bulldogs in week two matchup on the road

After a big win in week one, Fairfield returns to the field in week two looking to add to the win column.
Fairfield is set to take on Ottumwa on the road in its second week of action.
In their season opener, the Trojans took down rival Mt. Pleasant 41-20. It was an great first outing for the orange and black.
Leading the Trojan attack once again will be Tate Allen. Allen only threw the ball nine times in last weeks win, but racked up 152 yards and five touchdowns.
Out of Allen’s six completions, five went to tight end Max Weaton. Weaton accumulated 122 yards and four of the receptions were for touchdowns.
Tallon Bates had the Trojans other reception, a 30 yard touchdown.
On the ground, Hunter Cecchini did the majority of the work, rushing 12 times for 131 yards. Allen ran for 52 yards and Cason Miller 25.
Ottumwa comes into Friday’s contest off a comeback, 21-20, victory over Oskaloosa.
When Fairfield and Ottumwa met last season, it was a big 27-7 victory for Fairfield.
Fairfield has high hopes this season and the Trojans will look to keep rolling into week two.
The game will take place at Schafer Stadium in Ottumwa and is set to begin at 7:30 p.m.
