Fairfield tops the field in EBF Ike Ryan Relays
Trojans end with six winners on the day in Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont

EDDYVILLE — The Fairfield boys track team had everything clicking on Thursday in the EBF Ike Ryan Relays.
The Trojans took the meet crown, totaling six win on their way to a final score of 150 points.
Fairfield excelled on both the track and the field. The Trojans took two individual races, one field event and three relays events.
Aiden Lyons was a winner in 100-meter dash with a time of 11.37. River Patterson took the 400-meter dash title by over two second, clocking 50.34.
The Trojans single field event win came in high jump. Ousman Saine jumped 5 feet, 8 inches for the event win.
Fairfield also picked up a slew of relay win, including the 4x100, 4x200 and 4x800. In the 4x100 meter relay, the Trojans won with a time of 44.76. With a time of 1:37.28, Fairfield took the 4x200. The Trojans clocked a time of 8:51.73 for the top slot in the 4x800.
Cardinal also competed in the meet, finishing eighth with 79 points.
Isaac Lett was one of two of the Comets first place winners, finishing with the top time of 23.09 in the 200-meter dash.
The Comet’s Alec Rachford took the shot put with a heave of 42 feet, 11.50 inches.
