Fairfield youth soccer teams continue season
Fairfield?s youth soccer teams were out in full force Saturday with matches against Centerville, Albia and even each other at the Dexter Soccer Complex in Fairfield.
The local U8 team dominated its opponents and topped Fairfield?s own U9 team. Fairfield?s U10 teams also tallied wins.

Fairfield?s youth soccer teams were out in full force Saturday with matches against Centerville, Albia and even each other at the Dexter Soccer Complex in Fairfield.
The local U8 team dominated its opponents and topped Fairfield?s own U9 team. Fairfield?s U10 teams also tallied wins.
Fairfield?s No. 1 U12 team topped Albia 5-0, with goals made by Nicolas Frisbee and Kobe Cassens-Navesse. The No. 2 U12 team tied Albia; goals were scored by Nicolas Iseman and Dylan Harvey.
Fairfield U14 players met the Fairfield U16 players on the field and lost 4-1. U16 goals were scored by Solomon Constant and Niko Thiel, while Shawn Spurrier scored the lone goal for the U14 squad.
The U19 girls traveled to Iowa City, where they lost to their opponent. No report was available from the U19 boys? team.
Fairfield Area Soccer Association players will travel to Oskaloosa for games against Oskaloosa, Washington and Centerville on Saturday.
