Fairfield’s Perkins captains All-Union basketball list
Washington holds the coaches spot and two players; Fairfield and Mt. Pleasant name two players as well

It was an up and down season for the Union area’s three big schools in Mt. Pleasant, Fairfield and Washington.
Despite neither of the three securing the conference title, there were plenty of bright spots with some standout individuals along the way.
Those players are represented on this years big school All-Union boys’ list.
Washington leads the way with three total selections, including the coach spot and two players. Fairfield and Mt. Pleasant each have two players with the Trojans holding the captain honor.
This year’s list features all upperclassmen with just two seniors, while the other four spots are juniors.
Washington ended the season third in the Southeast Conference standings with a record of 5-5, Fairfield finished fifth at 4-6 and Mt. Pleasant sixth at 1-9.
Coach: Collin Stark, Washington
Washington head coach Collin Stark gets the head coaching nod this time around.
Stark led Washington to a top three finish in the SEC this season, the highest of the area teams. The Demons ended conference play with a .500 recorded of 5-5. Starks squad finished with an overall record of 9-14.
Captain: Riley Perkins, senior, Fairfield
Fairfield senior Riley Perkins earns the captain honor after helping the Trojans to a 6-16 overall record. The guard dipped his hand in every statistical category, but was the go to scorer, averaging 15.4 points a night, while also being the main facilitator with 4.2 assists.
The first team All-SEC selection notched 5.0 rebounds and 1.9 steals a game as well.
Logan McDole, senior, Washington
Washington senior Logan McDole was the Demons leader on the floor this season. As first team all-conference selection, McDole did a little bit of everything.
He led Washington scoring 13.1 points a night. He also posted a team best 3.4 assists a game. McDole averaged 4.0 rebound and 1.3 steals a game as well.
Eli Zillman, junior, Fairfield
High flying Fairfield junior Eli Zillman is a All-Union selection. Zillman really stepped up his game in his junior season.
The third year player was the best dunker in the league. He averaged 10.7 points and 6.0 rebounds to lead the Trojans. He also shot a team best 52.4% from the field.
Noah Lange, junior, Mt. Pleasant
Mt. Pleasant big man makes his way onto the All-Union list this season.
Lange, who held down the paint throughout the season, was dominant in the post for the Panthers. He averaged 9.7 points a game, while pulling down 7.7 rebounds a night and shooting 59.1% from the field.
He was a second team All-SEC selection.
Aiden Humble, junior, Mt. Pleasant
Mt. Pleasant junior Aiden Humble earns an All-Union mention this season. The third year player took on a larger role in the varsity roster and was the only Panther to average double digit points per game.
As an honorable mention All-SEC pick, Humble posted 10.6 points a night, along with 2.3 rebounds and 1.1 assists.
Drew Conrad, junior, Washington
Washington’s Drew Conrad could do it all from the guard position.
The shifty point and conference honorable mention honoree averaged 9.1 points and 3.3 rebounds, while also tossing 2.6 assists and tallying 1.3 steals.
He will be a focal point of the Demons offense next season.
