LETTS - Pekin won its Class 1A District 6 road football game Friday with Louisa-Muscatine 38-12.
The Panthers (2-3, 1-2) struck early and had a 16-6 lead after the first quarter and 24-6 by halftime. No team scored in the third quarter and Pekin won the final stanza 14-6.
L-M (1-5, 1-3) quarterbacks completed 18-of-29 passes for 243 yards with 114 yards rushing but couldn't get to the end zone enough against the Pekin defense.
