1. Washington swept the boys and girls team titles at last season’s Southeast Conference championships.
2. Demon boys lose perennial state qualifier Lance Sobaski to graduation, but return a strong core, including junior Micah Rees, who was second at the SEC meet last season.
3. Washington girls return all varsity runners from lst year’s conference meet.
4. Quincy Griffis comes in to 2022 as the leading returner in the SEC after finishing second at last year’s SEC meet.
5. Demon girls came up short of qualifying for last year’s state cross-country meet.
