Florence Marie Waugh

Florence Marie Waugh, 68, of rural Libertyville died at 7:25 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

A private family graveside service will be Tuesday in Mount Moriah Cemetery north of Douds, with the Rev. Jerry Caughron officiating.

Visitation begins at 3 p.m. today at Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds with family present from 5-7 p.m. At Mrs. Waugh?s request the casket will be closed.

Memorials may be made to Mount Zion Church or Douds first responders and may be left at the funeral home or mailed to Laura Waugh Johnson, 1412 West Fourth St., Pella 50219.

Mrs. Waugh was born Feb. 22, 1944, in Selma the daughter of John Budd and Isal Viola Post Fiedler. She married James L. Waugh Nov. 1, 1962 in Selma.

She graduated from Cardinal High School in 1962.

Survivors include her husband; three sons, Kevin Waugh, David Waugh and spouse Judy and Aaron Waugh and spouse Juli, all of Libertyville; two daughters, Ann Stickels and spouse Regan of Libertyville and Laura Johnson and spouse Scott of Pella; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandson; two brothers, David Fiedler of Floris and Charles Fiedler of Atlantic; and one sister, Betty Watson of Selma.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers James Paul and Robert Fiedler.
