The Trojans edged Ottumwa in the ?A? contest 33-31, and they also won the ?C? game 20-16. They dropped the ?B? game 32-2.
In the ?A? game, Kolten Webber led the way with 10 points and four steals. Steeler Higdon totaled seven points, nine boards and two steals; Cade Lisk scored six points to go with five rebounds; and James Lyman tallied six points and four assists. Blu Schultz and Hunter Drish tacked on two points each.
?Our bigs got in foul trouble early, and other kids had to step up and they did,? said Fairfield coach Tony Vandegriff.
The Trojan ?A? team had a record of 7-3 headed into their regular season finale Friday vs. Washington.
