FMS wrestlers grab 15 wins at Tuesday triangular

BURLINGTON ? The Fairfield Middle School wrestling team competed against Burlington and Fort Madison at Clark Field House in Burlington Tuesday.

The Trojans won 15 of 28 matches, and four wrestlers went undefeated in the triangular.

Fairfield?s Bailey Kemp, Luis Jimenez, Alex Hahn and Michael Fritz were the big winners Tuesday, and each wrestler pinned both of their opponents to go undefeated.

Kemp pinned both of his opponents in under a minute, Jimenez won by fall in 17 seconds and again in 3:22, Hahn won by fall in 52 seconds and 1:24, and Fritz pinned his foes in 3:30 and 30 ticks.

Others who recorded one pin Tuesday were Dallas Peebler, Robert Cupp, Mitchell Taglauer and Chris Hanson.

Simon Spalla and Charles Heisel were both victorious in one match by decision.

Fairfield will return to the mat Tuesday at Washington for a quadrangular.
