The latest edition of the Cedar Rapids Gazette’s high school football poll was released on Tuesday, and WACO has some company in a spot the Warriors had occupied alone for the last two weeks.
Don Bosco has made the rise in Class 8-Player, leaping from No. 3 to a tie with the Warriors in the No. 2 spot.
WACO skunked English Valleys 49-0 last Friday. The Warriors have yet to win a game by less than 22 points.
Remsen, St. Mary’s received all six first place votes in Class 8-Player. The only other team to sweep first place votes was Lewis Central, in Class 4A.
