Four different players scored for Mid-Prairie as the 12th-ranked Golden Hawks won 6-2 at West Liberty on Monday.

-ranked Golden Hawks won 6-2 at West Liberty on Monday.
After the Golden Hawks got their first goal off of an own goal by the Comets, Mid-Prairie sophomore Ashley Miller scored on an assist by sophomore Alison Riggan. Riggan also assisted Mid-Prairie?s third goal, which was scored by senior Taylor Hershberger. Sophomore Renee Buckwalter then scored a pair of goals, one on an assist by Riggan and the other on a pass from senior Emma Lappe. Finally, Riggan scored on an assist by Hershberger. All told, Mid-Prairie (6-2) took 23 shots on goal while the Comets only got off five shots on the Golden Hawk goal.
