Freshman football team falls to Pella
The Fairfield freshman football team lost to Pella 41-8 Friday at Trojan Stadium.
Tanner Deao led the offense with 5-of-9 for 53 yards passing, including one touchdown throw to Narendra Martin, who had four catches for 44 yards. Nick Jackson carried the ball nine times, racking up 53 yards.

On defense, Jackson had five tackles. Austin Crable had four stops and a fumble recovery, and Alex Christensen and Dillon Carlson also had four tackles apiece.
With the loss, the Trojan freshmen fall to 4-3 overall. The team will conclude its season at Keokuk Friday.
