The Mt. Pleasant freshmen girls? team is now 2-0 after trouncing Muscatine, 76-13, on Thursday night.

Mary Wester had 23 points to lead Mt. Pleasant in the contest. Kelsi Phipps played the second quarter and scored 18 pts. Hannah Becker scored 14, Natalie Ita put up nine, Kaitlyn Johnson added six, Shelby Allender added five, and Jena Stukerjurgen scored one point.
It was the second win for the girls this season. They also took a victory on Tuesday night, beating Ottumwa on the road by a final score of 54 - 31.
The team will host Fairfield tonight at 4:45 p.m.
