Mid-Prairie 77, Central Lee 41
Mid-Prairie picked up a postseason victory on Saturday night, downing Central Lee in the opening round of the 3A Region 4 bracket.
The Golden Hawks led 16-8 after one and 26-16 at the break. Mid-Prairie went on to outscore the Hawks 51-25 in the second half.
Brylee Gearhart led the Golden Hawks with 18. Morgyn Bender had 16 and Izzy Kite 11.
Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont 72, Pekin 32
Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont had just too much firepower against Pekin on Tuesday.
The top ranked Rockets led 45-16 at the half and 68-22 after three.
Sigourney 62, WACO 33
Springville 63, Winfield-Mt. Union 31
Winfield-Mt. Union’s season came to an end on Tuesday with a loss to Springville.
The Wolves were down just 11 at the half, 28-17, but the Orioles went on to outscore the Wolves 35-14 in the second half.
Pleasantville 60, Van Buren County 38
Van Buren County was defeated by Pleasantville on Tuesday to end its season.
The Warriors faced a 29-18 deficit after two quarters. The Trojans went on to take the third 16-13 and the fourth 15-7 to win it.
