Mid-Prairie (9-3) 60, Tipton (9-4) 50
Mid-Prairie closed strong against Tipton on Friday night. The Golden Hawks held a commanding 38-23 advantage at the half, but the Tigers cut it down to three, 44-41, after three.
However, the Golden Hawks finished with a 16-9 quarter to seal it.
Brylee Gearhart finished with 12 points to lead Mid-Prairie. Callie Huber ended with 11 points and Jeorgia Evans had eight.
Keota (7-9) 46, Moravia (7-7) 38
Keota trailed Moravia 10-9 after one quarter, but the Eagles bounced back in the second to take a 20-15 lead into the half.
The Eagles just edged the Mohawks in second half scoring 25-23.
Columbus (13-2) 64, Highland (10-5) 57
Columbus grabbed a Southeast Iowa Super Conference North overtime victory over Highland on Friday.
The Wildcats 22-10 after one and 30-28 at the half before the Huskies built a 46-40 lead after three. Columbus came back to force overtime before taking the extra period 7-0 to win it.
Isabel Rendon and Lily Coil combined for 47 points, 24 and 23 respectively for Columbus. Ariana Vergara followed with 12.
For Highland, Famryn Fink notched a double double with 27 points and a whopping 22 rebounds. Emersyn Schultz also tallied a double double with 12 points and 13 rebounds. Hailey Brun finished with six.
Hillcrest Academy (6-8) 63, Winfield-Mt. Union (2-14) 43
Hillcrest Academy defeated Winfield-Mt. Union on Friday night for a SEISC North victory.
The Ravens led the Wolves 27-17 at halftime before outscoring the WMU 20-16 and 16-10 in the third and fourth.
Claire Withrow finished with 23 points for Hillcrest Academy. Niva Helmuth added 13 points and Malia Yoder had 10.
Notre Dame (4-9) 41, New London (0-16)
New London and Notre Dame were tied 17-17 at the half of their SEISC South matchup.
A big 14-2 third quarter by the Nikes made the difference in the bout as the Tigers took the fourth 14-10.
Mylee Miller scored 19 points for the Tigers. Morgan Jones and Ruby Myers both tallied five points.
Knoxville (3-9) 72, Cardinal (0-11) 41
Cardinal suffered a tough loss to Knoxville on Friday.
The Comets were down 33-15 at the half before the Panthers built a 49-25 after three and outscored the Comets 23-16 in the fourth to close it.
Mediapolis (13-1) 75, Van Buren County (7-6) 12
Mediapolis put together a dominant first half against Van Buren County on Friday.
The Bullets outscored the Warriors 56-7 in the first half and 19-5 in the second.
Callie Kracht scored four points, while Teagan Sickels and Haylay Lydolph both scored three.
