Mid-Prairie 70, Durant 39
Mid-Prairie continued its winning ways on Tuesday with a dominant performance against Durant.
The Golden Hawks led 18-11 after one and 42-20 at the half before taking the third 16-14 and fourth 12-5.
Morgyn Bender finished with 21 points for Mid-Prairie. Brooklyn Schneider had 15 and Tessa Bombei 11.
Hillcrest Academy 40, Pekin 32
Hillcrest Academy outlasted Pekin on Tuesday night in a Southeast Iowa Super Conference North bout.
The Ravens outscored the Panthers 22-17 in the first half followed up with a 18-15 second half to seal the North victory.
Keota 48, English Valleys 45
Keota picked up win number nine on the season on Tuesday with a victory over English Valleys.
Highland 64, WACO 53
Highland took care of WACO on Tuesday night in the two Super Conference North clash.
Two points is all that separated the two squads at the half with Highland leading 19-17. The Huskies scored a whopping 30 points in the third quarter to make it 49-30 heading into the fourth.
The Warriors took the fourth 23-15, but it wasn’t enough to get the win.
Kamryn Fink scored 27 points for Highland. Hailey Brun had 12 and Katie Herrig 10.
Madelyn Farmer scored 16 for WACO. Courtney Waterhouse ended with 12 and Drew Graber eight.
Columbus 51, Wapello 29
Columbus took care of business against Wapello on Tuesday. The Wildcats outscored the Arrows 27-19 in the first half.
In the second half, the Wildcats held Wapello to just 13 points, while scoring 24 themselves to end it.
Holy Trinity Catholic 55, New London 40
New London put together a solid first half against Holy Trinity on Tuesday night. The Tigers led the Crusaders 12-10 after the first quarter and trailed by just five 25-20 at the half.
But they could never get on top. New London outscored HTC in the third to make it 32-28 after three, but a 23-12 fourth was more than enough to give the Crusaders the win.
Mylee Miller scored 18 points for the Tigers. Megan Lee added 17 and Morgan Jones two.
Davis County 74, Cardinal 22
Davis County was too much for Cardinal in the pair’s Tuesday night matchup.
The Comets were outscored in all four quarters, 21-7, 24-1, 16-10 and 13-4 on the night.
