No. 11 Winfield-Mt. Union 59, Louisa-Muscatine
WMU jumped out to an 15-0 lead on Tuesday and never let up.
The Wolves took the second 22-4 for a 37-4 halftime advantage. In the second half, the Wolves won the scoring battle 22-10.
Highland 56, Hillcrest Academy 37
A big second half propelled Highland to a Southeast Iowa Super Conference North win on Tuesday night.
Highland lept out to a 18-6 lead after the first period, but Hillcrest Academy answered back with a 16-13 quarter to make it 31-22 at halftime.
In the second half, the Huskies outscored the Ravens 25-15.
Knoxville 62, Cardinal 51
Cardinal gave Knoxville quite the run on Tuesday. The Comets were down 21-12 after one, but Cardinal bounced back with a 14-10 second.
At the half, Knoxville led 31-26.
The Panthers dominated the third quarter 15-9. Both teams finished with 16 in the fourth, leading to a Knoxville win.
Lone Tree 52, Columbus 33
Columbus struggled offensively against Lone Tree Tuesday night.
The Lions led the Wildcats 9-3 after one and 26-12 at the break.
In the third, Lone Tree won the scoring battle 14-9. Both squads were neck and neck in the fourth with 12 a piece.
Wapello 54, Pekin 32
A slow start plagued Pekin against Wapello.
The Arrows jumped out to a 11-2 lead after quarter one and 25-9 lead at the half.
Pekin was able to cut the Wapello lead to 12 with a 13-9 third quarter, but the Arrows ended strong with a 20-10 final quarter.
No. 12 North Mahaska 55, Keota 27
Keota trailed North Mahaska by just one, 7-6, after one quarter, but the Warhawks dominated the next three quarters.
North Mahaska took the second 19-5 for a 26-11 halftime lead. Keota was outscored 29-16 in the final two periods of action.
