Area girls basketball players littered the Iowa Girls Coaches Association’s 2025-26 All-District lists. The All-Southeast District teams was represented by area standouts in Classes 1A, 2A and 3A.
Mid-Prairie was the only area team with multiple selections. Junior Morgyn Bender and senior Jovi Evans got the nod for the Golden Hawks on the 3A All-Southeast District team.
Bender led Mid-Prairie in scoring at 13.3 points per game, with Evans not far behind at 11.2. Evans led the team in rebounding at 5.5 per game, while Bender was the Mid-Prairie’s standout interior defender with 1.3 blocks per game. The pair helped Mid-Prairie reach the 3A Region 3 championship game where the Golden Hawks fell just eight points shy of an upset over No. 1 Mount Vernon.
Washington’s Adalyn Long was also selected to the 3A All-Southeast team. Long led the Demons with 13.7 points per game and averaged 2.5 rebounds, 2.7 assists and two steals. The senior helped Washington double its win total from last season.
Van Buren County standout freshman Adalyn Snowgren landed on the 2A All-Southeast District team. Snowgren averaged 13.7 points, 7.8 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.5 steals and looks poised to be one of the top players in the Southeast Iowa Super Conference over the next few seasons.
Kolbi Saner of Cardinal ended her basketball career on a high note with an appearance on the 2A All-Southeast team. Saner averaged 14 points, 8.9 rebounds and 2.4 steals in her senior campaign.
Keota got the better of Highland in the state playoffs this season. But the stars of the Eagles and Huskies still shared an honor, landing on the IGCA 1A All-Southeast District team.
Kamryn Fink represented Highland after a strong sophomore season. Fink led the team in all five major statistical categories, and averaged a double-double for a second straight season with 16.6 points and 12.6 rebounds per game. She also averaged 3.9 assists, 5.9 steals and two blocks per game.
Keota’s Cameron Haifley joined Fink on the 1A-All Southeast squad after she helped the Eagles to 18 wins — the most by a Keota team in program history. Haifley averaged 17.4 points, 3.3 rebounds. 2.2 assists, three steals and 1.3 blocks in her sophomore campaign.
