MT. PLEASANT — It was a good sign for Mt. Pleasant bowling fans to see how the Panthers performed in their first meet of the season.
Mt. Pleasant rolled to first place at Iris Bowling Center on Thursday, beating out three other competitors in non-conference play.
The Panthers scored a 2,040, which topped Centerville’s 1,884, West Burlington-Notre Dame’s 1,656 and Central Lee’s 1,206.
The Panther girls were led by Natalie Brush, who rolled a 315. Madelynn Millard finished at 267, and Shyann Smith rolled a 264.
Anette Reynolds rolled a 227 for the Panthers. Addison Butcher finished at 215, and Savannah Smith rolled a 200.
