Girls? golf regional sites announced

Area girls? golf teams learned where their road to state lies on Wednesday afternoon, as the regional postseason assignments were announced.

In Class 4A, Washington will be traveling to Cedar Rapids to play at St. Andrews Golf Course in Region 4.

Cedar Rapids Xavier will host the meet, while Mt. Pleasant, Keokuk, Fairfield, Oskaloosa and Clear Creek Amana, as well as a number of Quad Cities teams will be in attendance.

Mid-Prairie will be traveling to Mediapolis for its regional meet, playing at Indian Hills Golf and Country Club and will face Burlington/Notre Dame and Williamsburg, among others.

Columbus will travel to Durant for its regional golf tournament, and play at Wahkonsa Golf and Country Club, where Regina and West Branch will be in attendance.
