Girls' postseason golf, tennis assignments announced

The Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union recently released regional golf and tennis assignments for all area schools.

The Fairfield girls? tennis team will look to extend its season May 16 at the regional singles and doubles competition at Pella Christian while neighboring Maharishi School is headed to Davenport Assumption. Competition at both venues is scheduled to get under way at 9 a.m.

The postseason begins for the Van Buren girls? golf team May 13 at a district competition in New London. All team and individual qualifiers from the New London meet will advance to the regional in Calamus. The Fairfield girls? golf team and 11 other Class 4A squads will be at Oskaloosa May 20 for the regional final.
