Girls regional basketball brackets announced
The Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union recently released the regional brackets for Classes 1A, 2A and 3A noting who each team will be playing along with the date and time of each game.
In Class 1A Region 6, Keota will play Lone Tree at Lone Tree and WACO will play Winfield-Mt. Union at Mt. Union.
In Region 7, Iowa Mennonite will play HLV at Victor. All of those games are Thursday, Feb. 9, at 7 p.m.

In Class 2A Region 8, Columbus will play at Danville Saturday, Feb. 11, at 7 p.m. Highland received the bye and will play the winner of the Columbus-Danville game Tuesday, Feb. 14, at 7 p.m.
Mid-Prairie will be host to West Burlington in Class 3A Region 7 action Saturday, Feb. 11, at 7 p.m.
The schedule for Washington will be announced next week.
