Girls state wrestling set for takeoff

CORALVILLE — The 2024-25 Iowa High School Girls Wrestling Tournament begins on Thursday, and 14 area grapplers will be fighting for their shot at a state title.
This will be the first year in the three-year sanctioned run of the state girls’ wrestling tournament to feature two classes, 1A and 2A. All Union area qualifiers are from Class 1A.
