Golden Hawk Archery competes in Ottumwa Winter Olympics

OTTUMWA — The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk archery teams competed in Ottumwa’s Winter Olympics on Jan. 22, and the Golden Hawks had plenty to be proud of with three Top-3 finishes.
The elementary team took home first place as a team. They were led by Morgan Northup, who took first place overall individually.
The high school team picked up a second-place finish as a team. They were led by Zane Fisher’s first place overall finish.
The middle school scooped up a Top-3 finish as well, taking third place as a team. The Golden Hawks had another first place finisher in Elijah Statler, who led the way.
