Golden Hawk girls are runners up in RVC tournament

PEOSTA — The Mid-Prairie girls golf team had a stellar outing on Wednesday while competing in the River Valley Conference Meet.

The Golden Hawks pulled out a second-place finish with a final score of 420 out of the 13 team field. West Branch took the team title with a score of 408.

Madi Davidson shot the lowest score on the day for the Golden Hawks a 101. Gabi Robertson and Addison English both tallied a 105. Alexa Hubler golfed a 109 in the tournament. Madelyn Bender ended with a 111 and Elliott Debler a 113.

At the end of the meet, numerous Golden Hawks were given conference honors.

Davidson was given the highest conference distinction of being named to the RVC Elite Team.

Robertson and English were both named to the RVC All-Conference Team. Hubler and Bender were both named to Honorable Mention.
