Golden Hawks ninth at West Liberty Invitational
The Mid-Prairie boys? golf team finished ninth out of 10 teams at the West Liberty Invitational on Thursday.
The Golden Hawks shot a 389 on the day. Central Clinton won the tournament with a 324.
Junior Trever Owens fired a 91 to lead the Golden Hawks and tie for 23rd place overall. Freshman Paul Hawbaker carded a 98, and sophomore Devon Young shot a 100. Senior Tyler Davis had a 106 to round out the scoring. ...

Mid-Prairie will host Durant, Iowa City Regina, Mount Vernon, West Branch, West Liberty and Wilton at the Kalona Golf Club on Tuesday for its Hawk Invitational, starting at noon.
