Golden Hawks, Panthers move up

The final regular season poll of the year is out for the small schools, and both Mid-Prairie and Pekin finished in the Top-7 of their respective classes.

Both the Golden Hawks and Panthers moved up one spot before Week 1 of the playoffs. Mid-Prairie now sits at No. 4 in Class 2A, while Pekin comes in at No. 7 in Class A.

The No. 1 teams to close out the regular season weren’t quite unanimous. The biggest four classes do have unanimous No. 1 teams in Dowling, Xavier, Clear Lake and Kuemper Catholic.
