On the heels of back-to-back hat tricks, Mid-Prairie senior Meghan Redlinger scored four goals in Friday?s contest. She also had three assists.
Twin sister Kattie Redlinger added a pair of goals for the Golden Hawks (3-1), and junior Kira Kerkove scored her first two goals of the season. Team captain Taylor Hershberger had a goal and an assist, and sophomore Ashley Miller scored her first career varsity goal. Sophomore Alison Riggan didn?t score, but she tallied three assists.
Despite all the scoring, Mid-Prairie head coach Bristol Harris was most impressed that his team shut out the Wildcats.
?I cannot say enough about the defense, as I did not see them backing up too much,? he said.
