Greiner, Pacha compete at All-Star event

IOWA CITY - Washington High School had two girls participate June 1 as the Iowa Track Coaches Association hosted the state pentathlon and Senior All-Star meet at Iowa City West High School.

Demon senior Jenah Greiner got a personal record in the long jump when she soared to a distance of 17 feet, 4 inches to place second in the event.

Greiner also ran on the third-place distance medley team and the sixth-place 4x100 meter relay.

Kelsey Pacha placed third in the Pentathlon with 2,788 points. First place was 2,967 by Caroline Schaeckenbach of Iowa City West.

Pacha's time of 16.48 in the 100-meter hurdles was second. Her long jump of 5.01 meters was third. Her high jump of 1.42 meters was tied for third. Her shot put of 9.25 meters was second. Her 800 time of 2:41.56 was fifth.
