Sigourney-Keota earns victory
Behind Peyton Crawford?s big night, the Sigourney-Keota Cobras earned a 48-6 victory over Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont on Friday night.
Crawford ran for 265 yards and five touchdowns on the night, including a 6-yard scamper, while adding two catches for 58 yards and a 43-yard score to help the Cobras to a victory.

Sigourney-Keota earns victory

Sigourney-Keota moves to 3-3 (2-1 in district play) on the season with the win.
Junior Jacob Wickencamp had 10 carries in the game for 63 yards, while freshman Carson Crawford had the other touchdown in the game.
Sigourney-Keota will travel to take on Highland on Friday.
WACO drops first district game
A 100-yard rushing performance from senior Bryce Achen wasn?t enough for the WACO Warriors on Friday, as they fell to Lone Tree 36-17.
It was the first district loss for WACO, who is now 3-3 overall on the season (3-1 in district play).
Achen had 125 yards rushing and a touchdown in the game, while freshman wide receiver Colton Horak caught a 9-yard touchdown pass from junior Jackson Roth for the team?s other touchdown.
Roth completed 6 of 15 passes on the night for 67 yards, while Justyn Chalupa had a team-high 26 receiving yards.
WACO will face Winfield-Mt. Union at home on Friday.
Columbus falls to Regina
The Wildcats faced a tough test against No. 1 ranked Regina on Friday, and put up the most points the Regals have allowed this season, but fell 55-28 in the home contest.
Mauricio Ramirez had 159 yards rushing and a touchdown, adding three catches for 48 yards and another score to his night, while Ruben Paz had a 75-yard touchdown catch in the game.
Carter Colby accounted for the other score of the night, as he had 66 yards rushing and a 1-yard touchdown.
Columbus (2-4, 1-2 in district play) will go on to face Pella Christian at home on Friday.
