Guy leads field of 53 golfers at Finkbine
The group of area golfers that travels eastern Iowa to play in outings to raise money for the American Cancer Society played at Finkbine Golf Course in Iowa City on Tuesday.
Larry Guy fired an 83 to lead a field of 53 golfers, and Leonard Kull shot an 85. Kevin Caldwell carded an 86, and Doug Dunlap shot an 88.

The group of area golfers that travels eastern Iowa to play in outings to raise money for the American Cancer Society played at Finkbine Golf Course in Iowa City on Tuesday.
Larry Guy fired an 83 to lead a field of 53 golfers, and Leonard Kull shot an 85. Kevin Caldwell carded an 86, and Doug Dunlap shot an 88.
Jerry Westermark won the handicap competition, while Bob Bell, Russ Parker and Ed Weeks tied for second place. Kull and Clarence Brown tied for fifth place. Guy, LaVerne Geyer and Ed Lins tied for seventh place, while Jim Amelien and Ted Drain tied for 10

place.
Tom English won the nine-hole tournament, with Ray Carter coming in second. Wendell Eden took third place.
