Gymnastics camp scheduled
The Fairfield Park and Recreation Department is offering gymnastics classes for ages 3-14 starting Sept. 12 at the Roosevelt Recreation Center.
Sessions will last six days and take place in the evenings, on either Mondays or Thursdays. Classes will be split into age divisions.

The Fairfield Park and Recreation Department is offering gymnastics classes for ages 3-14 starting Sept. 12 at the Roosevelt Recreation Center.
Sessions will last six days and take place in the evenings, on either Mondays or Thursdays. Classes will be split into age divisions.
The classes are structured to help children develop balance, body positions, flexibility, self-confidence and strength. Students will be taught basic to advanced gymnastics skills at an individual level.
Jeff Ide, who has more than 30 years of gymnastics experience, will instruct the children. Ide will be helped by an assistant during individualized instruction.
Each six-day session will cost $30 per child.
