HAWKS CANT PERCH ON WEST BRANCH
WEST BRANCH — The Golden Hawk girls golf team lost to West Branch 206-237 Tuesday at Cedars Edge Golf Course in a River Valley Conference match.
Madi Davidson led Mid-Prairie with a score of 54. Close behind was Madelyn Bender and Gabi Robertson with a 59 each and Alexa Huber carded a 65, with Elliott Debler and Madison Witthoft at 71 and Claire Zirkelbach with 74.
"The kids improved on their team score once again, cutting five shots off last week and season lows from Bender, Davidson and Witthoft,” Mid-Prairie coach Tracy McArtor said. "We know that short game and putting is our biggest area that needs work.”
