Harris wins Southeast Iowa Amateur
Joe Harris of Washington cruised to a five-stroke victory at the Southeast Iowa Amateur, which was held at the Washington Golf and Country Club on June 9.
Harris, who recently completed his sophomore season playing for the Valparaiso University men?s golf team, carded a 27-hole score of 104 to win the championship flight by five strokes over Matt Berg. Nathan Elseman finished in third place with a 110.

Chris Lemek shot an 18-hole score of 79 to edge Nick Witthoft and Mick Johnson by one stroke for first place in the first flight. Ben Williams shot an 86 to win the second flight. Mike Tschantz and Tim Miller also both carded an 86 to finish second and third, respectively.
