Hawks claim three titles at RVC meet
The Mid-Prairie wrestling team had a trio of athletes continue their impressive seasons on Saturday afternoon, claiming three individual championships at the River Valley Conference Tournament.
Duncan McCain (113 pounds), Cameron Tolander (170 pounds) and Levi Duwa (220 pounds) all claimed conference tournament titles, and together, have only lost a combined six matches on the season.

The Mid-Prairie wrestling team had a trio of athletes continue their impressive seasons on Saturday afternoon, claiming three individual championships at the River Valley Conference Tournament.
Duncan McCain (113 pounds), Cameron Tolander (170 pounds) and Levi Duwa (220 pounds) all claimed conference tournament titles, and together, have only lost a combined six matches on the season.
McCain, who stands at 37-0 on the season, cruised through his bracket, picking up a tech. fall in the quarterfinals, before pinning his final two opponents for the conference title.
Tolander (29-3 on the year) won all three of his matches by fall, with his first two victories coming in the first period, and his championship match pin coming in the second period.
Duwa (37-3 on the year) picked up first-period pin falls in his first two matches, and earned a 3-1 decision in the championship match to claim the title.
As a team, the Hawks picked up fifth-place overall at the meet, scoring 103.5 points, while West Liberty claimed the meet title with 232 points.
Mid-Prairie will head to Mediapolis with Columbus and Washington for its sectional tournament on Saturday afternoon.
