Hawks run well in Mt. Pleasant

It was a strong day for the Mid-Prairie girls? track team on Thursday, as they traveled to Mt. Pleasant for a meet.

The meet wasn?t scored, but the Golden Hawks certainly would have placed well, with the help of sophomore Anna Hostetler, who claimed two meet titles.

Hostetler swept the distance events, claiming the 1500 title with a 5:02.47, and winning the 3000 with a time of 10:33.

The Hawks? top-finishing relays came in the distance medley and the 4x800-meter relays, each of which took fourth place.

The Mid-Prairie girls will be back in action on Tuesday, when they travel to Williamsburg for a meet, which will also contain Washington and IMS.
