Hennigan leads victory

Cade Hennigan's 16 points helped Washington win a boys high school game Monday in Ottumwa.
Washington 60, Ottumwa 54
Hennigan had 13 first-half points as the Demons recovered from a 14-7 first-quarter deficit to lead 26-20 at the half. Trevor Quigley went 8 of 8 on free throws in the fourth quarter and finished with 13 points.
The Demons improve to 5-7 and host Columbus tonight.
Iowa Mennonite 58, Wapello 51
IMS won the road Southeast Iowa Super Conference North Division game behind Jeremy Niemeyer's 22 points.
Eli Ours added 15 points for IMS, which has a 9-5 overall record and 8-5 North.
IMS took a 13-10 lead after the first quarter but trailed 26-25 at the half. A 14-10 advantage in the third quarter gave the visitors a lead they would not relinquish.
No.9 Camanche 72, Mid-Prairie 43
The Class 2A-ranked home team defended its home court in this River Valley Conference game.
Camanche is 13-2, 12-1. Mid-Prairie falls to 8-7, 7-7 and plays at Iowa City Regina tonight.
