Highland ends with win
LONE TREE -- Highland won the final game of its high school volleyball regular season with a 3-1 victory at Lone Tree Tuesday.
The Huskies won the Southeast Iowa Super Conference North Division match and start the postseason Tuesday at Iowa City Regina (10-22) at 7 p.m.
The Huskies got a boost in the second set against Lone Tree when Sarah Schneider reeled off 13 consecutive serves including seven aces.
Schneider finished the match with 10 aces. Emilee Thomann led the Huskies in kills with seven. Holly Schneider had eight digs.
Highland is 4-15 and 3-4 in the North.
