Highland football dropped by Lisbon

LISBON — A fateful second quarter doomed the Huskies Friday when Highland gave up 22 points to trail 36-0 at halftime in a 43-0 to Lisbon in a Class A District 5 football game.
Lisbon’s defense was near impenetrable, allowing 16 yards passing and negative six yards rushing.
Yahir Jimenez led Highland’s defense with 8.5 tackles.
Brenton Bonebrake led Highland’s offense with two catches for 11 yards and seven rushes for 10 yards.
Highland is 2-5 and plays Pekin Friday.
