Highland golfers win

MORNING SUN - The Highland High School girls golf team picked up a victory Monday at Heritage Oaks Golf Course and the boys won as well.
The Huskies defeated Wapello's girls 230-260.
Highland's Charlie Aicher was the meet medalist with a 54 and Emily Streb's 58 was the runner-up score.
Shantall Avendano and Kayla Cerny each carded a 59.
Wapello did not field a full boys team.
The Huskies were led by Hunter Craig, who had a 54.
Wapello's Walker Bolander went low with a 42.
Other Huskies scores were Zane Eagle's 61, while Brogan Carolan, Dan Burton and Geoff Streb all posted a score of 62.
