Highland, Mid-Prairie each send four
The Highland wrestling team had four athletes advance to districts over the weekend in a sectional wrestling tournament at English Valleys.
Drew and Bryce West each took first place for the Huskies in their brackets, while Zach Kleopfer and Tony Olguin finished in second place to advance.
Drew West won his semifinal match by pin fall, and first-place match by a 19-3 tech. fall to win the 113 weight class.

The Highland wrestling team had four athletes advance to districts over the weekend in a sectional wrestling tournament at English Valleys.
Drew and Bryce West each took first place for the Huskies in their brackets, while Zach Kleopfer and Tony Olguin finished in second place to advance.
Drew West won his semifinal match by pin fall, and first-place match by a 19-3 tech. fall to win the 113 weight class.
Bryce West had two pin falls to win the 120 weight class.
In the semifinals, Bryce?s fall came in 15 seconds, while in the first-place match, it came in 3:45.
Kleopfer won his semifinal match with a pin fall at 160, before losing in a major decision in the first-place match.
In Kleopfers?s second-place, wrestleback match he earned a 51-second fall to move on to districts.
Olguin fell by pin in his semifinal match, but won his final two matches of the day with pins to advance out of the 170 weight class.
Highland will travel to Wilton for its district meet on Saturday.
Mid-Prairie traveled to Benton for its sectional and had four advance to districts, with Levi Duwa earning the lone championship on the day.
Duncan McCain won his semifinal match with a pin, before being pinned in his first-place match at 113.
McCain took second with a pin fall in the wrestleback match.
Visouth Peterschmidt took second place for the Hawks, his only loss coming in the first-place match, an 8-3 decision.
Cameron Tolander won his semifinal match in a sudden victory (5-3) at 182, but fell in the first-place match by a 1-0 decison.
Tolander did not have to take part in a wrestleback match by rule and took second place.
Levi Duwa won his semifinal match by pin fall in 58 seconds for the Hawks, before winning his first-place match with a pin fall in 3:08 to advacnce to districts.
Mid-Prairie will travel to Solon for its district meet on Saturday.
